Samsung Details Price for 105-Inch 21:9 UHD TV[teaser]Appropriately mammoth-sized pricing has been announced for the mammoth-sized Ultra HD display. [/teaser] After making its debut at CES back in January, Samsung has finally revealed more details and pricing for its upcoming 105-inch 4K TV. The gigantic LCD display will sell for... $120,000. Yep, better start saving those pennies now. The UN105S9W features a wide 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5,120 x 2,160. The curved-screen LCD panel features the company's UHD Dimming and Precision Black Local Dimming for superior contrast and black levels. Likewise, the display offers a host of other advanced features, including UHD upscaling support, Clear Motion Rate 1440 technology, smart TV capabilities, and a Quad Screen option for segmenting the TV into four different screens. Samsung is now taking pre-orders for the TV and the displays will be made to order. Delivery will take about 12 weeks once an order is placed and Samsung will send over a Field Engineer to help setup the display. Now, does anybody have an extra $120,000 that I can "borrow?" Amazon Reportedly Bringing Prime Instant Video to Android[teaser]Reports indicate that Amazon is preparing to launch Prime Instant Video support for Android devices. [/teaser] According to a report by PC Advisor, Amazon is gearing up to release an Android app for its popular Prime Instant Video service. With that said, it is unknown if the proposed app will support both tablets and smartphones. Currently, Amazon only offers Prime Instant Video access for its own line of Kindle Fire tablets, the Fire TV, the iPad, game consoles, and smart TVs. Likewise, the company is also actively pursuing 4K content delivery, and Ultra HD media support might be a part of the upcoming app as well. An exact date for the Android app has not been disclosed, but its release is said to be "imminent." Prime Instant Video is available now for $99 per year, and offers customers a growing lineup of movies and TV series that includes exclusive streaming rights to a large selection of HBO shows, Fox's '24,' the BBC series 'Orphan Black,' FX's 'The Americans,' and NBC's 'Hannibal.'
