MGM to 'Never Say Never Again' on Blu-ray this March

More Bond is coming to Blu-ray, with MGM setting a late-March high-def debut for 'Never Say Never Again.'

Featuring Sean Connery in his highly-publicized return to Bond, but produced outside the Eon fold, this "unofficial' 007 adventure will hit Blu-ray on March 24.

Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer disc with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround.

Extras include audio commentary with director Irvin Kershner and James Bond historian Steven Jay Rubin, a trio of featurettes ("The Big Gamble," "Sean is Back," "The Girls of Never Say Never Again"), a still gallery and theatrical trailer.

Although 'Never Say Never Again' is timed to coincide with the home video arrival of the latest big-screen Bond adventure 'Quantum of Solace,' as well as the next 3-pack of Bond classics that includes 'Goldfinger,' 'Moonraker,' and 'The World is Not Enough,' it will only be available as a stand-alone release and will not be offered as part of any Bond bundles or box sets.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.
