Disney Boxes Up 'High School Musical' for Blu-ray

Good things will come in threes for 'High School Musical' fans this February, with Walt Disney announcing a 'High School Musical 1-3' box set for Blu-ray release.

As previously reported, Disney has confirmed a February 17 next-gen street date for the latest big-screen smash in the popular teen musical series, 'High School Musical 3,' along with a special high-def "Remix Edition" of the original 'High School Musical.' (Disney previously released 'High School Musical 2' on Blu-ray in late 2007.)

Now fans can get all three titles in one box, when Disney also releases 'High School Musical 1-3' on Blu-ray, also due February 17.

Tech and supplement specs will match the stand-alone versions, and no new or exclusive content has been announced for the box set version.

Suggested retail price for 'High School Musical 1-3' has been set at $109.98 (representing no savings over buying each title individually).
