High quality video playback is now available on select Android devices.
VUDU has announced the release of its latest Android app. The update offers several new features, including HDX playback support.
VUDU's latest Android app now uses a completely rebuilt and redesigned interface with faster performance. Likewise, the update provides a new navigation menu, auto-magic search suggestions, and a portrait mode for smartphones. Finally, the biggest upgrade involves added support for HD (720p) and HDX (1080p) playback on select phones and tablets with Android Lollipop or higher. HDX support is also available on PCs and via the Google Chromecast, but is not yet compatible with iPads or iPhones.
Android users can now download the latest VUDU app from the Google Play store.
