Tracer And Widowmaker Take The Lead In The New 'Overwatch' Animated Short

On the hunt for some lore.

The second of four planned 'Overwatch' animated shorts debuted today. Titled 'Alive,' the short stars the game's bubbly, timestream-manipulating gunslinger Tracer and the calculated, efficient sniper assassin Widowmaker.

Even though the main takeaway from these animated shorts is some light game-universe lore, the video still shows off the characters' gameplay abilities. Tracer darts around with her blink and recall abilities, and Widowmaker makes her daring escape with her grappling hook and venom mine, all the while taking shots with her combination assault rifle/sniper rifle.
