This Is How 'Castlevania' Creator Koji Igarashi Would Make A Mario Level

What is 'Mario Maker'? A miserable little pile of secrets!

'Super Mario Maker' finally hits tomorrow, and while the servers are bound to be chock full of user-created goodness, let's face it, there's always something to be said for letting the professionals handle things. Nintendo themselves have already let Michel Ancel (of 'Beyond Good and Evil' and 'Rayman' fame) take an official stab at it, which they even got Miyamoto to try out himself a few days ago (Spoiler: He liked it!).

Polygon, however, is now taking the initiative, and inviting even more developers to come create their own. And first up is 'Castlevania'/'Bloodstained' director Koji Igarashi. His level is short but sweet, and a little bit evil, involving dastardly decision to place Bowser right at the stage's start. Both of the professional levels so far have been fascinating little looks at design ethos, the likes we've barely even gotten out of interviews with these folks so far. Hopefully, both Polygon and Nintendo have a LOT more of these lined up. Hopefully, Tim Schafer and/or Yuji Naka are in the cards.
