The new premium audio players will be available later this month.
Questyle Audio has announced the release of its latest audio gear. The QP1 ($599) and QP1R ($899) are portable high-resolution digital music players.
"At CanJam SoCal and Axpona, audiophiles were blown away by the sound and build quality of our QP1 and QP1R players," says Bruce Ball, Vice President of Questyle Audio. "We're excited to premiere the production models to audiophiles who have been eagerly waiting to use the players with their state of the art headphones and extensive hi-res musical libraries. Kudos to our engineering team for showcasing our technology capabilities in such a high performance portable package."
The QP1 and QP1R feature patented Current Mode amplification technology and high-end headphone amplifiers. Both models use an aluminum and glass casing and are powered by 3300mAh Lion batteries. The QP1 offers 16GB of integrated storage and the QP1R offers 32GB. In addition, both devices include Micro SD Card storage expansion slots that support up to 128GB. The players are capable of high-resolution music playback and support numerous file types including WAV, FLAC, APE, AIFF, ADPCM, LPCM, MP3, WMA, WMA Lossless, OGG, AAC, ALAC, DFF, and DSF. While both models offer similar features, the QP1R uses more high-end components, resulting in top level specifications and superior sound performance.
Questyle's QP1 and QP1R will be on display at the High End Exhibition in Munich on May 14, the Tokyo Headphone Festival on May 16, and the T.H.E. Show in Newport Beach on May 28. Pre-orders will start shipping in late May.
