Plex Launches Plex Cloud Beta with Amazon Drive Storage

Plex Media Server support is heading to the cloud!  

Plex has announced the arrival of Plex Cloud, allowing users to enjoy fully featured media server support through the cloud using Amazon Drive storage. The premium service is now available as a beta program to a limited number of Plex Pass users.

Plex Cloud lets customers store and access their Plex media collections without a traditional always-on computer or NAS device. Instead, users can simply store their videos, photos, music, and other content through the cloud using an Amazon Drive account. Plex users can then run an always-on Plex Media Server through the cloud, allowing them to easily stream and access their Amazon Drive media remotely on all their Plex enabled devices.
