The NFL's digital video service is set to launch on several streaming platforms.
The NFL has announced new distribution deals with Amazon and Roku to bring its NFL Now service to the Amazon Fire TV, Kindle Fire tablets, and Roku devices like the Roku 3 and Roku Streaming Stick. The two companies join previously announced partners Microsoft, Verizon, and Yahoo,
NFL Now is the National Football League's upcoming online digital video service. The internet-connected network will offer personalized content to football fans, giving users access to customizable news, analysis and highlights. In addition, the service will also provide live events, press conferences, shows and an extensive library of on-demand NFL media including NFL Films content.
"We are thrilled that NFL Now will be available for Amazon Fire TV and Kindle Fire customers ahead of the 2014 NFL season," said Mike George, Vice President, Amazon Appstore and Games. "The customized viewing experience that NFL Now provides allows the most avid fans (myself included) to have the ease of access to great content that they want most. The stunning display of the Amazon Fire TV and Kindle Fire family of products allows for an engaging sports viewing experience from the living room or on mobile devices – anywhere a customer wants to watch their favorite NFL content."

NFL Now is set to launch in August. In addition to the Amazon Fire TV, Kindle Fire tablets and Roku devices like the Roku 3 and Roku Streaming Stick, the service will also be available through PCs, select gaming consoles, and Windows, Android and iOS apps on various tablets and smartphones.
