Here's a full rundown of titles scheduled to arrive on each service:
Stranger Things 4 (Netflix, TBA) - Plot details and a release date have not been revealed yet, but the series has officially been renewed for a fourth season. In addition, Netflix has also signed the show's creators, The Duffer Brothers, to a multi-year film and series overall deal.
Insatiable: Season 2 (Netflix, October 11) - A dark, twisted revenge comedy starring Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Alyssa Milano. For years, Patty (Debby Ryan) has been bullied, ignored, and underestimated by those around her because of her weight. But now that she finds herself suddenly thin, Patty is out for payback against anyone who has ever made her feel bad about herself.
The Hook Up Plan: Season 2 (Netflix, October 11) - Set in modern day Paris, the romantic comedy series follows a group of friends who rally around their perpetually single girlfriend Elsa, who can't seem to figure out why she is so unlucky in love. In season two, four months after bidding farewell to her BFFs, Elsa stages her return to Paris. But guilty secrets take a toll on her love life and her friendships.
Eli (Netflix, October 18) - The story of a young boy (Charlie Shotwell) plagued with an unknown, debilitating illness that requires him to live completely sealed off from the outside world. After exhausting every option, his parents (Kelly Reilly and Max Martini) put their trust – and his life – in the hands of a doctor (Lili Taylor) whose experimental, cutting edge treatments at her clean house facility may hold Eli’s last hope. As Eli undergoes the tremendously intense process that could potentially cure him, he begins to be haunted by experiences that make him question who he can trust and what is lurking inside the house.
Unnatural Selection: Season 1 (Netflix, October 18) - New developments in the science of gene-editing signal that society is on the verge of a technological breakthrough that could forever change the future of humans. From disease eradication to trait selection and biohacking, these groundbreaking experiments have inspired fierce debate over the moral, social and environmental implications. Over the course of this provocative four-part limited series, Unnatural Selection travels around the world to meet the scientists, hackers, critics, ethicists and beneficiaries of the technologies that defy evolution and have the potential to do incredible good and, possibly, irreparable harm.
The Kominsky Method: Season 2 (Netflix, October 25) - The sun isn’t setting yet on aging actor slash acting coach, Sandy Kominsky and his longtime agent Norman Newlander in the award-winning Netflix comedy series The Kominsky Method. Academy Award Winners Michael Douglas (Kominsky) and Alan Arkin (Newlander) continue their journey as two friends tackling life’s inevitable curveballs as they navigate their later years in Los Angeles, a city that, above all else, values youth. This season, Sandy meets and bonds with his daughter’s new boyfriend (guest star Paul Reiser) who is uncomfortably close to Sandy’s age. Meanwhile, Norman reconnects with an old flame from his youth (guest star Jane Seymour) and after fifty years, they decide to start again. Nancy Travis and Sarah Baker co-star.
I Lost My Body (Netflix, November 29) - In a Parisian laboratory, a severed hand escapes its unhappy fate and sets out to reconnect with its body. During a hair-raising escapade across the city, the extremity fends off pigeons and rats alike to reunite with pizza boy Naoufel. Its memories of Naoufel and his love for librarian Gabrielle may provide answers about what caused the hand's separation, and a poetic backdrop for a possible reunion between the three. Based on Guillaume Laurant's novel "Happy Hand."
6 Underground (Netflix, December 13) - Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.
Wounds (Hulu, October 18) - Disturbing and mysterious things begin happening to a New Orleans bartender after he picks up a phone left behind in his bar. Starring Zazie Beetz, Dakota Johnson, and Armie Hammer. Directed by Babak Anvari.
Castle Rock - Season 2 (Hulu, October 23) - A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.
Reprisal (Hulu, December 6) - A hyper-noir story that follows a relentless femme fatale who, after being left for dead, sets out to take revenge against her brother and his bombastic gang of gearheads. Starring Abigail Spencer, Rodrigo Santoro, and Mena Massoud.
