Coming Soon to Blu-ray: The X-Files, Sorry to Bother You, and More

New info has been revealed for several Blu-rays from FilmRise, Warner Bros., Paramount, Olive Films, 20th Century Fox, PBS, and Sony set for release in the coming months.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, FilmRise is bringing Matthew Newton's Who We Are Now starring Julianne Nicholson, Emma Roberts, and Zachary Quinto to Blu-ray on August 13. There are no supplements currently listed for the release.
Likewise, the label is set to release Sophie Brooks The Boy Downstairs starring Zosia Mamet, Matthew Shear, and Deirdre O'Connell on November 13. Supplements will include:
- Behind the Scenes
- Photo Slideshow
- Theatrical Trailer
In addition, Katie Green and Carlye Rubin's documentary The Family I Had is also coming to Blu-ray on November 13. Supplements will include:
- Deleted Scenes (40 Years, Abilene, Box, New Car, Reunion, Vermillion)
- Theatrical Trailer
Warner Archive is prepping John Sturges' Never So Few starring Frank Sinatra, Gina Lollobrigida, and Peter Lawford for Blu-ray on August 7. The disc will feature a brand new remaster of the film and supplements will include:

In addition, the label will bring Vincente Minnelli's Home from the Hill starring George Hamilton, George Peppard, and Robert Mitchum to Blu-ray on August 14. The disc will feature a brand new remaster of the film and supplements will include:

Meanwhile, Richard Brooks' The Last Hunt starring Robert Taylor, Stewart Granger, and Lloyd Nolan is in the works for August 21. The disc will feature a brand new remaster of the film and supplements will include:
- Two vintage excerpts from the "MGM Parade" TV series promoting The Last Hunt
- Trailer
And rounding out the studio's upcoming lineup will be Raoul Walsh's The Naked and the Dead starring Aldo Ray, Cliff Robertson, Raymond Massey, and Barbara Nichols on August 28. The disc will feature a brand new remaster of the film and supplements will include:

Paramount is set to release Tim Kirkby's Action Point starring Johnny Knoxville, Brigette Lundy-Paine, and Susan Yeagley on August 21. Supplements will include:
- Benny and the Sh*tbirds
- Anarchy in the Amusement Park
- Old School, Bone-Crunching Stunts
- Drinking Beer with Grizzly Bears
- Deleted & Extended Scenes
- Bloopers
As previously reported, the studio is also preparing Bill Holderman's Book Club starring Alicia Silverstone, Mary Steenburgen, Jane Fonda, Don Johnson, Diane Keaton, and Candice Bergen for Blu-ray, and now the release date has been announced as August 28. Newly revealed supplements will include:
- Deleted & Extended Scenes
- It All Started with a Book – The journey from script to screen
- Casting Book Club – Working with Hollywood icons
- Location, Location, Location – Visit the set with filmmakers
- A New Chapter – The cast discuss themes of friendship and romance
- Living in the Moment – Creating the film’s theme song
As previously reported, Olive Films will bring The Wachowskis' Bound starring Gina Gershon, Jennifer Tilly, and Joe Pantoliano to Blu-ray on August 28. The disc will feature a brand new digital restoration with theatrical and unrated versions. Newly announced supplements will include:
- Audio commentary with writers/directors The Wachowskis; actors Joe Pantoliano, Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon; film editor Zach Staenberg; and technical consultant Susie Bright
- "Part and Parcel" – with titles designer Patti Podesta
- "The Difference Between You and Me" – with film studies and gender studies professors B. Ruby Rich and Jen Moorman

20th Century Fox is set to release The X Files: Season 11 starring David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, and William B. Davis on September 18. Supplements will include:
- Gag Reel
- Audio Conversation on the Fox Lot
- The Scully Effect
- Green Production
- Audio Commentary on "Kitten"
- Audio Commentary on "My Struggle IV
Likewise, the studio is prepping Vikings: Season 5 Part 1 starring Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, and Jessalyn Gilsig for Blu-ray on October 2. Supplements will include:
- I am Boneless
- Bringing the Invisible People to Life: The Sami
- Deleted Scenes
In addition, Boots Riley's Sorry To Bother You starring Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Armie Hammer, Terry Crews, and Steven Yeun is also in the works for Blu-ray. Supplements and an exact release date have not been announced yet, but pre-orders are now live.
PBS is prepping The Miniaturist starring Romola Garai, Alex Hassell, Hayley Squires, and Paapa Essiedu for Blu-ray on September 18. Supplements have not been announced at this time.
Sony is preparing AMC's Preacher: Season Three starring Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, and Ruth Negga for Blu-ray on September 25. Supplements have not been announced yet.
In addition, the studio is set to bring Andrzej Bartkowiak Maximum Impact starring Danny Trejo, Alexander Nevsky, Evgeniy Stychkin, and Kelly Hu to Blu-ray on October 2. No other details have been announced at this time.
Meanwhile, Stefan Ruzowitzky's Patient Zero starring Natalie Dormer, Matt Smith, Clive Standen, and Stanley Tucci is set to hit Blu-ray on October 23. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
