Coming Soon to Blu-ray: THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX, MID90s, and More
The newest entry in J.J Abrams' Cloverfield sci-fi franchise and Jonah Hill's directorial debut both headline our latest crop of upcoming Blu-ray releases.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-rays from PBS, Lionsgate, Universal, Sony, and Paramount.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, PBS will release Ken Burns: The Civil War starring David McCullough and Sam Waterston on January 1. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
Likewise, the studio will also bring Ken Burns: The Vietnam War to Blu-ray on January 1 as well. Supplements have not been announced at this time.
Lionsgate is prepping Jonah Hill's Mid90s starring Sunny Suljic, Lucas Hedges, Alexa Demie, and Katherine Waterston for Blu-ray on January 8. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
Likewise, the studio is also bringing Andrew Bowler's Time Freak starring Asa Butterfield, Sophie Turner, and Skyler Gisondo to Blu-ray on January 8. Supplements have not been announced yet.
Meanwhile, Jodi Scurfield's Speed Kills starring Katheryn Winnick, Jennifer Esposito, and John Travolta will then follow on January 15. No special features are currently listed for the disc.
In addition, Justin MacGregor's Best F(r)iends: Volume 1 + Volume 2 starring Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero is in the works for January 22. Supplements will include:

And rounding out the studio's upcoming Blu-ray lineup will be Stephen Quale's American Renegades starring J.K. Simmons, Sullivan Stapleton, Sylvia Hoeks, Clemens Schick, and Ewen Bremner on January 22. Supplements will include:
- Covert Operation: Story and Cast - Featurette
- Keeping it Real: Production and Shooting on Location - Featurette
- Can-Do Attitude: Stunts, Weapons, and Vehicles - Featurette
- Underwater Adversity: A Deep-Dive Heist - Featurette
Universal is bringing Reinaldo Marcus Green's Monsters and Men starring Chanté Adams, Giuseppe Ardizzone, and Nicole Beharie to Blu-ray on January 8. Supplements will include:
- Stop - a short film by Reinaldo Marcus Green
- Original trailer
Likewise, the studio will also release Jim Hosking's An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn starring Aubrey Plaza, Emile Hirsch, Jemaine Clement, Matt Berry, and Craig Robinson on January 8. No supplements are currently listed for the disc.
In addition, USA's The Purge: Season One starring Gabriel Chavarria, Jessica Garza, and Hannah Emily Anderson will hit Blu-ray on January 8 as well. Supplements will include:

Meanwhile, David Kerr's Johnny English Strikes Again starring Rowan Atkinson, Olga Kurylenko, Jake Lacy, Ben Miller, and Emma Thompson will then follow on January 22. Supplements will include:

Syfy's Killjoys: Season Four starring Hannah John-Kamen, Aaron Ashmore, Luke Macfarlane, and Tamsen McDonough is also in the works for January 22. No supplements are currently listed for the release.
Rob LaDuca and Robert C. Ramirez's Joseph: King of Dreams starring Ben Affleck, Mark Hamill, and Richard Herd is set to arrive on Blu-ray on January 22 as well. Supplements will include:

- Storyboard Presentation with Director's Commentary
Likewise, Bibo Bergeron, Don Paul, and Jeffrey Katzenberg's The Road to El Dorado starring Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branagh, Rosie Perez, and Armand Assante is also scheduled for January 22. Supplements will include:

Momentum Pictures and Sony have announced plans to release Michael Caton-Jones' Asher starring Ron Perlman, Peter Facinelli, Richard Dreyfuss, and Jacqueline Bisset on January 8. Supplements have not been detailed at this time.
In addition, Sony is prepping Björn Runge's The Wife starring Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce, Max Irons, Christian Slater, and Elizabeth McGovern for Blu-ray on January 29. Supplements will include:
- Q&A session with author Meg Wolitzer and Glenn Close
- Keeping Secrets: Glenn Close on The Wife
- In Conversation With Cast of The Wife: Q&A featuring Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce, Annie Starke, Christian Slater and Björn Runge
And rounding out the studio's upcoming lineup will be John Singleton's Poetic Justice starring Janet Jackson, Tupac Shakur, Regina King, and Khandi Alexander. Supplements will include:
- 10 never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes
- A rare look at Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur’s original screen test
- A new retrospective interview with Writer/Director John Singleton
Paramount is prepping Julius Onah's The Cloverfield Paradox starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, David Oyelowo, and Daniel Brühl for Blu-ray on February 5. Supplements will include:
- Things Are Not as They Appear: The Making of The Cloverfield Paradox
- Shepard Team: The Cast
In addition, the studio will release a Cloverfield: 3-Movie Collection with Cloverfield, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and The Cloverfield Paradox. Supplements are expected to mirror those found on the individual releases.
Finally, Tyler Perry's Nobody's Fool starring Missi Pyle, Tiffany Haddish, Courtney Henggeler, and Whoopi Goldberg will then follow on February 12. Supplements have not been announced yet.
