Wes Ball's acclaimed Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes starring Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, William H. Macy continues the epic franchise arriving on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on August 27. The release will also be available in a 4K UHD SteelBook.
The science fiction epic set "generations before Caesar's reign" will not only also be available on Digital on July 9, the 4K UHD packages will include “Inside the Lens: The Raw Cut,” a full-length alternative cut with a split-screen comparison between the final cut of the film and a version with unfinished VFX with optional audio commentary by director Wes Ball, editor Dan Zimmerman and VFX supervisor Erik Winquist. The never-before-seen alternate cut gives fans a unique opportunity to see the actors’ performances before the visual effects were completed.
