Sony has detailed its latest Bluetooth audio product. The BSP60 Smart Bluetooth Speaker is a compact voice controlled audio device capable of carrying out scheduling tasks and playing music.

The BSP60 is a 2.5W stereo speaker designed with simple personal assistant functions in mind. The device is voice controlled and can answer questions including details related to weather forecasts and your personal schedule. In addition, the speaker can be used to make conference calls, set alarms and timers, and play music. Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and NFC support are integrated as well, and the unique orb design even features tiny wheels for mobility.

Exact pricing and a release date have not been announced, but reports indicate a Q2 2015 release for about $355.
