LG Officially Reveals G Pro 2

LG's latest HD smartphone has finally been detailed.

After weeks of rumors, LG has officially announced its newest flagship smartphone, the G Pro 2. While the phone is set to make its global debut at the Mobile World Congress at the end of the month, full specs and details have already been unveiled for the Korean market.

The G Pro 2 features a 5.9-inch 1080p IPS display with a slim 3.3mm bezel. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 800 2.26 GHz Quad-Core processor, an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and a removable 3,200mAh battery all running Android 4.4. In addition, a 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera are included. Likewise, the camera supports 4K Ultra HD video recording, 120fps HD recording, slow motion editing, and burst shot capabilities. Other features integrated into the new phone, include Content Lock for file security, Mini View for one handed use, a Dual Browser mode, and LG's new Knock Code which allows users to unlock their phones by tapping the screen in different knock combinations.

Pricing and availability for the US market have not been announced yet, but more details are expected to be revealed at the Mobile World Congress on February 24 where the smartphone will be on hand at LG's booth.
