The company's newest premium mobile device has been detailed.
Samsung has unveiled the latest additions to its Galaxy lineup of smartphones. The collection includes the Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Note10+.
"From the very beginning, the Galaxy Note has stood for the best-of-the-best technologies and features. The Galaxy Note10 re-imagines this promise for the modern Note fan who uses their smartphone to take their productivity and creativity to the next-level, and who effortlessly flows between ideas and endeavors at a moment’s notice," said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. "Every element of Galaxy Note10 was designed to help users achieve more. Whether they’re finishing a big project for work, capturing and editing a video, or playing their favorite mobile game, the Galaxy Note10 will help them do it faster and better."
The Galaxy Note10 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 2280x1080 and 401ppi. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note10+ features a larger 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 3040×1440 and 498ppi. Both screens are HDR10+ certified with support for Dynamic Tone Mapping and Wide Color. Under the hood, both models are powered by a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor (Max. 2.8 GHz + 2.4 GHz + 1.7 GHz) running Android 9.0, while the Galaxy Note10 uses 8GB of RAM and the Galaxy Note10+ uses 12GB of RAM.
When it comes to cameras, the Galaxy Note10 includes a Triple Camera system with an Ultra Wide 16MP camera, a Wide-angle 12MP camera, and a Telephoto 12MP camera. The Galaxy Note10+ also adds on a special DepthVision Camera capable of scanning objects in order to turn them into 3D renderings. A 10MP front camera is integrated on both models as well, complete with support for Night Mode, allowing users to take low light selfies.
Finally, the smartphones include a re-designed, unibody S Pen as well, enabling advanced note-taking, air gesture controls, and a new AR Doodle feature which works in tandem with the camera to personalize photos with dynamic drawings, effects, and animations that track to an image.
The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ are set to launch on August 23 via AT&T, Spectrum Mobile, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless, and Xfinity Mobile. Likewise, Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, Walmart, Samsung.com and the Shop Samsung app will also carry the smartphones. Pricing for the Galaxy Note10 will start at $949.99 while pricing for the Galaxy Note10+ will start at $1099.99.
