Crestron Reveals the UFO Waterproof Remote

It's nice and safe in heat too, so you won't have to worry about dropping it in the hot tub.

The Crestron UFO isn't the kind of slick touchscreen remote you're used to seeing from the company, but it doesn't need to be. Instead of being built around the living room, it's made for pools, hot tubs, baths and anywhere else a waterproof remote would come in handy.

The UFO gives you 200 feet of indoor range and 1,000 feet outdoors, which should give you plenty of room. It offers tactile pushbuttons and easy access for controls like volume and power. You'll also find a color LCD display with a UI that can be customized to suit your needs.

The UFO is tolerant of both chlorinated and salt water, and is water tight to 10 feet. It can also handle temperatures from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 131, so you don't have to worry too much about bringing it into the tub with you.
