ZTE and Boost Mobile have announced the release of the Boost Max smartphone. The mid-range mobile device features a large 5.7-inch 720p IPS display with 257PPI, giving it a tablet-like screen size.
The Boost Max is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor and 1 GB of RAM running Android 4.1. An 8MP rear camera and a 1MP front camera are also included. In addition, the smartphone features Dolby Digital Plus audio, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 3,200mAh battery rated for 16 hours of talk time. Finally, the company's Smart Viewer technology has been integrated as well, allowing customers to use two apps at the same time.
Both 3G and 4G LTE connections are supported for the device through Sprint's mobile networks. The phablet is available now through Boost Mobile for $300 without a contract.
