'Pain & Gain' Blu-ray Announced

The musclebound action/comedy heads to Blu-ray this August.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount has revealed 'Pain & Gain' for a Blu-ray release on August 27.

From acclaimed director Michael Bay comes 'Pain & Gain,' a new action/comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Based on the unbelievable true story of a group of personal trainers in 1990’s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong.

The Blu-ray will include 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtrack, and no supplements have been revealed thus far.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
