'Mystery Men' Announced and Detailed for Blu-ray

The 1999 super-powered comedy is suiting up on Blu-ray in July.

In an early announcement to retailers, Universal Studios is working on 'Mystery Men' for a Blu-ray release on July 24.

The film about a team of wannabe superheroes who sets out to rescue Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear) from super villain Casanova Frankenstein (Geoffrey Rush) also stars Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, William H. Macy, Hank Azaria, Tom Waits, and Paul Reubens.

The Blu-ray will feature1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Commentary with director Kinka Usher and The Making of Mystery Men.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.98.
