Marantz Releases SR5012 & SR6012 Receivers with Dolby Atmos & DTS:X

Two new Network AV receivers have been detailed.

Marantz has announced the launch of its latest AV components. The new collection includes the SR5012 & SR6012 AV Receivers.

"The SR5012 and SR6012 aim to create a one-of-kind immersive sound experience that rivals those found in theaters today."

The SR5012 is a 7.2 Channel AV receiver with 100 watts per Channel (8ohms, 20 Hz20 kHz, 0.08% THD). Meanwhile, the SR6012 is a 9.2 Channel AV receiver with 110 W per Channel (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08%, 2Ch drive). Both units include support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats. In addition, the SR6012 offers 11.2 channel processing, allowing for up to a 7.1.4 speaker configuration with an external 2-channel amplifier. Multiroom music playback via HEOS integration and 4K/60 Hz full-rate pass-through with 4:4:4 color resolution, HDR, BT.2020, Dolby Vision, and Hybrid Log Gamma (via future firmware update) are provided as well.
