The company is showing off a new 32-inch LED prototype.

At the Computex trade show in Taiwan, ASUS revealed its latest monitor prototype. The 32-inch curved-screen LED display is said to be the largest monitor of its type.

The monitor features a WQHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 and uses an LCD VA panel with LED backlighting. The VA (vertical alignment) tech offers a middle ground between traditional TN and more expensive IPS panels, giving users impressive viewing angles, black levels, and color accuracy. The prototype currently offers a subtle curve, and ASUS is still determining how much bend to give the final product, hoping to add immersion without distorting the picture. A DisplayPort connection is also integrated into the display and the monitor features a matte finish to prevent glare.

Still only a prototype, exact pricing and availability for the monitor have yet to be determined. The company also recently revealed a new 32-inch 4K monitor set for release in Q4 2014.
